(16) As her character develops throughout the book, we start to see a side of her that we didn't before. After Chilton asking her if there was something she missed, she grows nervous and weary. Connie is being questioned by Professor Chilton about the Salem witch trials. ![]() Connie starts out as a very different character in the beginning of the book versus at the end. ![]()
